New self help book, “Mentor Me: GA=T+E—A Formula to Fulfill Your Greatest Achievement,” by Ken Poirot , has received favorable reviews from readers and at least one professional critic already.
As reader Oana Ilasi states, “This is one of the best self help books I have read…” Other readers have rated “Mentor Me ” five stars with comments such as:
“concise and helpful” (Mada Straier), “The book I’ve been waiting for” (Toby Robinson), “really eye-opening” (Ida Kennedy), “different than other self help books” (Pricilla Benton), and “Brilliant…this is my new favorite book” (Thomas A.).
Professional critic Barry Silverstein, with ForewardReviews, wrote “Mentor Me” is “fascinating…enlightening…conversational, educational, and often inspirational…a valuable guide.”

When interviewed by the Book Club Reading List and asked what inspired him to write it, author Ken Poirot replied:
“I always wanted to help people. This book gave me the opportunity to leverage myself and my experiences to help the most people possible.
I was also not satisfied with the current business, success, self help, self improvement books in the market. The other books I feel were mainly theoretical where the reader has to try to figure out how to implement these theoretical applications in their lives.
Most often entire workbooks are later published from these same books just to help the reader better utilize the information.
My book solves this problem as I show the real world applications, experiences, observations, and the resulting impact on my life.
In addition, this book is interactive, with places for the reader to have their own individualized blueprint defined and therefore have their own personal experience with the book.”

Author Ken Poirot also stated, “I wanted to emphasize to potential readers ‘Mentor Me’ is not your typical self help or self improvement book. To illustrate this point, I designed a video trailer that is very different than other book video trailers you may have seen in the past.
When people watch the video trailer, I think they will walk away sensing ‘Mentor Me’ is unlike other books in the self help, business, success, achievement, or self improvement genres.”
