In the early years of post-Obama America, a group of dim but
lovable baby boomers are––of course—financially unprepared for retirement. And
when they leap at a too-good-to-be-true deal to secure their Golden Years, they
find they have inadvertently outsourced themselves to India. Their last hope of
returning home rests on the shoulders of Sean O'Brien, an untested young
lawyer, whose impressive—and shamelessly padded—resumé neglects to mention the
attribute that has most shaped his life: the good luck (now turned bad) of
looking just like a young Barack Obama. Sean travels to exotic India and struggles
to forge his own identity, negotiate the bewildering romantic minefield in
which he has landed and find a way, against all odds, to bring our unhappy band
of involuntary expats back home.
